  DESCENDANTS OF THOMAS WARR, by Janet Hewitt...Hewitt has added yet another
     title to the growing list of Darlington County genealogies available.  In her brief
     introduction Hewitt states, “The Darlington District Warrs appear to be descended
    from William Warr, son of Thomas Warr of N.C.  William Warr, according to the census
    report had at least six sons, Benjamin, Henry, James, John, Thomas, and William, Jr.,
    and a daughter, Susannah.”  The descendants of William War are widespread in
    Darlington County today having married into many local families.  Several members
    of this family moved to Alabama and Louisiana during the 19^th century also.
